Christmas Eve Festival of Lessons & Carols

The Oceanside United Reformed Church invites you if you’re local or passing through to visit family & friends, to its 25th annual Christmas Eve Festival of Lessons & Carols—Wednesday, December 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Army & Navy Academy Chapel, 2549 Ocean St., Carlsbad, 92008, located on the border of Oceanside and Carlsbad.

This beloved Christmas Eve service weaves together ten Scripture readings—from Genesis through the Gospels—that proclaim God’s promise of a Savior and the fulfillment of that promise in Jesus Christ. Between and around the lessons, the congregation sings traditional Christmas carols. After the service, guests are invited to enjoy Christmas cookies and warm cider.

The event is free and open to the public. Street parking is available, and the chapel includes a quiet area for families with small children.
